Digital commerce and global procurement consulting

Operational consulting for systems that need to work clearly.

Lois Davidson Consulting supports two practice areas: Shopify and Meta infrastructure for digital commerce, and global procurement representation for international businesses sourcing from Germany and Europe.

Based in Germany. Supporting merchants and international buyers with structured diagnostics, documentation, and clear next steps.

Practice areas

Two consulting practices built around operational clarity.

Both practice areas focus on the same principle: diagnose the real issue, document the process, and give the client a clear basis for action.

Digital Commerce Practice Shopify and Meta Infrastructure

Diagnostics, recovery, and monitoring for the systems connecting Shopify, Meta Commerce Manager, catalogs, Pixel, Conversions API, access, verification, and compliance.

The costly pattern

Most merchants notice the revenue drop before they notice the infrastructure failure.

The storefront can look fine while Meta is optimizing on incomplete data, stale catalog items, rejected products, broken ownership, or a compliance issue that has not surfaced clearly.

CATALOGHigh
Products rejected, stuck, or out of sync

Meta receives the wrong price, stock, image, variant, or policy signal and ads keep running on bad inputs.

TRACKINGHigh
Pixel and CAPI do not match reality

Events duplicate, disappear, or arrive without enough match quality for Meta to optimize properly.

ACCESSCritical
Ownership lives with the wrong person

A former agency, employee, or single admin can become the point of failure for the whole commerce setup.

COMMERCECritical
Commerce Manager is restricted

Shop features disappear or product tagging stops, but the appeal path is unclear because the root cause is buried.

COMPLIANCEMedium
Compliance and event data conflict

Tracking may appear active while policy, compliance, or data sequencing creates reporting gaps and avoidable account risk.

OPSMedium
No regular infrastructure monitoring

Tokens expire, API notices get missed, and small platform changes become performance problems later.

Answer 10 practical questions. The quick check covers the highest-risk areas. The full paid diagnosis uses the complete 20-category framework.

Use the score to understand whether the issue looks like a simple cleanup, a recovery project, or a possible rebuild.

  • Score out of 100 across 10 high-risk areas.
  • Flags weak layers before they become bigger failures.
  • Lets the consultation start with evidence instead of guesswork.
Question 1 of 10 Ownership

Digital Commerce Practice

Diagnosis first. Recovery or rebuild only when the evidence supports it.

The offer is structured to avoid expensive guesswork. Every engagement begins by identifying root causes across the infrastructure layer.

Stage 1 Infrastructure Diagnosis

20-category investigation with a Shopify and Meta Health Score, severity ratings, and prioritized recommendations.

  • Root cause analysis
  • Recovery feasibility rating
  • Written findings report
Stage 2 Infrastructure Recovery

Repair path for recoverable setups: catalog, tracking, permissions, dataset, verification, and Commerce Manager issues.

  • Issue-by-issue scope
  • Configuration repair
  • Validation and handover
Stage 2b Infrastructure Rebuild

Rebuild path when account history, access, ownership, or verification makes normal recovery too fragile.

  • Asset salvage plan
  • Correct build sequence
  • Clean baseline setup
Stage 3 Monthly Support

Ongoing monitoring for merchants that rely on Shopify and Meta and want fewer surprise failures.

  • Catalog health checks
  • Event quality review
  • Access and token monitoring

Diagnostic framework

20 diagnostic layers before recovery decisions.

The full diagnosis looks across ownership, platform access, catalog health, event data, shop visibility, and compliance sequencing before recommending repair or rebuild.

Example finding

A store can look connected and still be quietly broken.

This composite example shows the kind of hidden pattern the diagnosis is built to catch. It is not a testimonial or a specific client case.

Composite diagnostic patternSample report
MediumSeverity level
4Linked root causes
RepairLikely path
Symptom

Meta ad performance declined while Shopify revenue and catalog admin screens looked normal.

Root causes

Catalog sync token lost scope, CAPI was missing, compliance sequencing was unclear, and Business Manager backup access was incomplete.

Fix path

Recover access, rebuild catalog connection, configure Pixel and CAPI deduplication, verify compliance sequencing, then monitor stability.

Monitoring

Track catalog sync, event match quality, access health, and compliance sequence after the repair.

Consulting standards

Every output should feel like it came from the same firm.

Reports, RFQs, quotation comparisons, diagnostics, and recommendations should follow the same structure, language, colours, headings, and document logic. That consistency is part of the consulting product.

Digital CommerceDiagnostic Reports

Consistent scoring, severity ratings, root cause notes, and next steps.

ProcurementRFQ Documents

Clear supplier requests with product details, documentation needs, and commercial requirements.

ProcurementSupplier Comparisons

Consistent comparison of price, lead time, technical fit, terms, risk, and documentation.

OperationsStatus Reports

Clear progress updates, outstanding actions, risks, and decisions required.

About Lois Edzii Davidson

Merchant experience. Platform experience. Infrastructure expertise.

I'm Lois Edzii Davidson, founder of Lois Davidson Consulting. Before starting this consulting practice, I built and operated my own ecommerce fashion business, managing product sourcing, online sales, supplier relationships, customer service, and social commerce.

I later worked within Meta's ecommerce operations environment through Concentrix, supporting merchants with catalog issues, Commerce Manager, tracking, account access, and platform compliance. Day after day, I saw the same pattern: businesses were often trying to solve marketing problems when the underlying issue was hidden within the infrastructure connecting Shopify and Meta.

Lois Davidson Consulting was created to close that gap by helping merchants understand what is happening behind the scenes, identify the root cause of technical issues, and build a more stable foundation for growth.

Merchant experience

Built and operated an ecommerce business from sourcing to customer acquisition.

Meta ecommerce operations

Supported merchants with catalog management, Commerce Manager, tracking, and platform compliance.

Recognised for quality

Recognised for performance and quality standards in ecommerce operations.

Specialist focus

Shopify and Meta infrastructure diagnostics, recovery, and long term stability.

Foundation

The work is a calling, not just a career.

Behind every diagnostic report, procurement recommendation, and client conversation is a commitment to work that is honest, careful, and worth doing.

Lois Davidson Consulting is built on personal values: transparency, accuracy, and a commitment to service that does not depend on whether anyone is watching. That conviction is the foundation the practice stands on.

Count the cost before you begin.

Every engagement starts with a diagnosis. Understanding the real situation before recommending a path is not caution, it is the right standard of care.

A good account is worth keeping.

Clear documentation, honest reporting, and structured communication are not extras. They are the product. Every client should be able to read back exactly what was found and what was done.

Use what you have been given fully.

Experience, attention to detail, and the ability to bring structure to complex situations are tools to be used completely, not held back or half-applied.
